German translation. help!?
I am learning german and alligators fascinate me. There is a couple or sentences I have tried to read online in a german website. I got stuck and need a little help. The following are the sentences i need help with:
Beide leben bevorzugt in Sümpfen und Seen, aber auch in Flüssen und fressen jedes Beutetier, dessen sie habhaft werden können.
Die Alligatormutter ist bei ihren bis zu 70 Eiern, die sie auf ein Mal ausbrüten kann, sehr fürsorglich.
Sie bewegt sich zehn Wochen lang nur wenige Meter vom Hügel aus Schlamm und Blättern weg, in den sie die Eier gelegt hat. Nachdem die kleinen, ungefähr 20 Zentimeter langen Alligatoren geschlüpft sind, trägt sie die Mutter ans Wasser, wo sie die nächsten Monate zusammen verbringen.

Both live preferentially in marshes and lakes, but also in rivers and eat every prey animal which they can get hold.
The alligator mother is with theirs up to 70 eggs which she can incubate on once, very caring.
She moves during ten weeks only few meters of the hill from mud and sheets away in which she has laid the eggs. After the small, about 20 centimeter long alligators have slipped, it carries the mother in the water where they spend the next months together.
