What’s the right way to gift a Tiffany necklace?
I ordered a necklace from Tiffany for the girlfriend. Usually other companies send the necklace all ready to go in a box. This is my first experience with Tiffany. I got:
-Box + ribbon
-Layered padding inside the box
-Drawstring pouch
-Necklace inside a small cotton sack inside the pouch
-Card about proper silver care
-Envelope with return/exchange/etc information
Obviously I keep the envelope and I guess the card, too. And I doubt I keep the necklace inside the tiny cotton sack. Am I supposed to put the necklace inside the pouch and put the pouch in the box? It seems like it would get lost in there (took me long enough to find it!). Do I ditch the pouch and just put the necklace on top of the foam inside the box?
Thanks for helping a Tiffany noob -_-
You’re probably supposed to nicely arrange the necklace inside the box so that it looks good when she opens it up. But it REALLY doesn’t matter because it’s a freaking tiffany necklace, so who cares? It’s what’s inside that counts, just like they say.
